Attendees can also earn one continuing education unit for the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)\, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) via the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)\, and the National Athletic Training Association (NATA) via the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC). \nSpeaker: Dr. Richard J. Johnson\nDr. Richard J. Johnson is a professor of medicine at the University of Colorado. Dr. Johnson is a clinician and a medical scientist who has been internationally recognized for his work on sugar\, especially fructose and its product\, uric acid; and how they may play a role in obesity and diabetes.
