DESCRIPTION:  \nThe autonomic nervous system plays a crucial role in the physiological regulation of both body temperature and blood pressure. Often\, the control mechanisms for these two processes are linked or overlap\, in either adaptive or maladaptive ways. Nisha Charkoudian will give an overview of these mechanisms\, followed by an update of recent research in these areas from her lab and others.
