DESCRIPTION:Benefits-eligible Arizona State University employees can get a 30-minute health screening. Several tests are free of charge\, including readings on cholesterol\, blood pressure\, and triglycerides. \nOther tests are available for as low as a $25 copay. Cash\, check\, MasterCard\, or Visa are accepted. Bring your ASU ID and health insurance cards. \nFasting for eight hours before the venous draw is required. Employees receive results in the mail within seven to 10 business days. Read more about how the tests are conducted online. \nThis event is HIP-endorsed\, a program available to the benefits-eligible state of Arizona employees. Find out more about the incentive-based HIP program online. \nASU employees receive one free mini-health screening per calendar year. Extreme heat can amplify the effects of both prescribed and illicit drugs\, especially for people without access to adequate air conditioning or stable housing. \nJoin health experts for an illuminating webinar exploring how high temps interact with substance use to increase the risk of death\, how certain populations are more vulnerable\, and what can be done to prevent harm as our region grows hotter. \nASU’s College of Health Solutions offers its Health Talks speaker series to inspire collaboration and conversation on important topics in health.
