DESCRIPTION:The Office of Health Care Advancement (OHCA)\, with the goal of inspiring the younger generation\, invites high school students—sophomores and juniors preferred—to attend a one-day program. In this program\, student mentors will share advice on the various educational pathways that lead to a successful career in healthcare. \nHigh school students will have the opportunity to learn about professions such as nursing\, physical therapy\, medicine\, pharmacy\, public health\, and more. Through storytelling and a speed networking activity\, participants will gain insights into the challenges of these fields. Additionally\, they will learn best practices for writing a personal statement for their college applications. \n  \nSaturday\, November 1st \n9:00 am – 3:00 pm \nIn Person \nHealth Science Education Building – Phoenix
