ASU College of Health Solutions Health Talks | Heat and Health: How to Help Vulnerable Populations

August 25, 2022 @ 12:00 pm1:00 pm

Arizona knows heat. As climate change increases extreme heat events in regions outside the Southwest, other cities are looking to our expertise for guidance. How can our knowledge translate into support for the people most at risk for heat-related illnesses and death — in Arizona and beyond? Join us to understand the impact of environmental heat exposure on health outcomes and to hear about solutions for protecting the homeless and other vulnerable populations. Come away with the practical strategies and resources that health care providers need for their most vulnerable patients.
