The VR/AR Association (VRARA), Phoenix Region will be giving a state of industry talk, highlighting cities around the world that are leading the emerging Metaverse and XR ecosystem. They will be sharing their association’s research on the economic impact Phoenix AZ could receive by fostering a Metaverse strategy.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIVE INDUSTRIES
In this panel session we will hear from early city collaborators on strategies to attract eSports, gaming industries, major gaming events and visitors to the greater phoenix region. We will also look at workforce development and what’s needed to support the visions of economic growth around upcoming projects in Mesa’s Arts & Innovation District, Glendale’s Sports & Entertainment District and others. Panel session will be moderated by the VRARA Phoenix.
