Venture Café Thursday Gathering – Hackathon and Pitch Competition with the City of Phoenix

WHAT

The City of Phoenix and Venture Café Phoenix are collaborating on a Hackathon (11:30am – 5pm) and Pitch Competition (5:30pm – 7pm) to find innovative solutions to provide access to chilled drinking water in in public places.

We welcome any and all interested in the Hackathon to apply. (Limited space, apply below)

Everyone is welcome to come and watch the Pitch Competition in the evening.

Mayor Kate Gallego and Vice Mayor Yassamin Ansari will both be in attendance.

WINNINGS

First place winners of the Pitch Competition will be awarded a total of $3500 split equally between team members. Second place will split $1500.

First and Second Place winners, along with Audience Choice will receive promotional assets for marketing and PR purposes. All Hackers will receive swag from the City of Phoenix and Venture Café Phoenix.
