Connect 2 Mentors

The Office of Health Care Advancement (OHCA), with the goal of inspiring the younger generation, invites high school students—sophomores and juniors preferred—to attend a one-day program. In this program, student mentors will share advice on the various educational pathways that lead to a successful career in healthcare.

High school students will have the opportunity to learn about professions such as nursing, physical therapy, medicine, pharmacy, public health, and more. Through storytelling and a speed networking activity, participants will gain insights into the challenges of these fields. Additionally, they will learn best practices for writing a personal statement for their college applications.
