Professional Identity Development as Educators

Join us on Tuesday, January 27, for a special Faculty Development Conference — Professional Identity Development as Educators: Resources and Recommendations for Modeling Professionalism in the Learning Environment  featuring Natasha Keric, MD, division chief of Trauma, Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery at the U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix.

Dr. Keric will co-present with Jennifer Hartmark-Hill, MD — professor of Family, Community and Preventive Medicine, as well as director of the Longitudinal Clinical Experience and Faculty Instructional Development — and Francisco Lucio, JD, senior associate dean of the Office of Health Care Advancement.

Invitees include all UME and GME faculty educators, fellows and residents. Snacks will be provided.

Learning Objectives

  1. Define and discuss professional behaviors in the UME and GME learning environments.
  2. Provide an overview of “best practice” methods when delivering fair, factual and directly observed feedback in the clinical setting.
