XLR8 PBC Fall 2025 Cohort

Phoenix, AZ – September 10, 2025 – XLR8 PBC has cemented its role as a unique and highly impactful program within the health tech ecosystem. A strategic launchpad for companies poised for significant growth and market penetration, the program has been designed to support founders/CEOs with access to top industry leaders, mentorship, and strategic resources.

The Phoenix Bioscience Core (PBC) welcomes the second cohort of XLR8 PBC, including three international companies, into the Fall 2025 (F25) cohort. 

The selected companies represent cutting-edge advancements in medical technology, addressing critical gaps in AI, wearable garments, hearing protection, and brain functions, and are set to amplify the already thriving Phoenix ecosystem. 

Meet the F25 Cohort:

AI.VALI (Toronto)

Med‑tech SaaS delivering AI‑driven, real‑time endoscopy image analysis and reporting to streamline clinical workflows. 

Hexoskin (Montréal)

Smart wearable garments that continuously monitor ECG, respiratory, activity, and sleep via clinically validated sensor‑embedded shirts.

Paxauris (Phoenix)

Inflatable, ergonomic hearing protection (earplugs and hearables) designed for comfort and performance in diverse, high‑noise environments. 

ReSuture (Phoenix)

Advanced, AI‑enhanced vascular models and online platforms to elevate surgical training and reduce patient and system risk. 

NeuroCatch (British Columbia)

A portable EEG‑based platform to rapidly and objectively assess cognitive brain function via “brain vital signs” at the point‑of‑care.
