Decoded

Decoded is a series of twelve sketches representing pages of a scientist’s notebook. Each drawing explores a different facet essential to decoding the brain’s complex structure and function, offering a window into the layers of neuroplasticity research.
The text and data interwoven with art invites a closer look into the processes and mechanisms that shape this research. When viewed as a whole, the background forms the color burst of a visual response in the primary visual cortex, which only recent technology has been able to capture. Collectively, the works reflect the beauty, intellect, and curiosity that drive scientific discovery.
