The Valley of the Sun is hosting the Super Bowl this week, and downtown Phoenix is home to a ton of great events and activities. If you’re around the Phoenix Bioscience Core over the next week, be sure to check out some of these awesome events.

NFL Fan Experience

Taking place at the Phoenix Convention Center, the NFL Fan Experience is a traveling circus of everything NFL and Super Bowl. See every single championship ring, run the 40-yard dash, snag a couple of autographs and much more. Check out the hours and more information here.

Venture Café Phoenix

We can’t forget out about our favorite Phoenix innovation meet up. Every Thursday, Venture Café gathers at 850 PBC to highlight the latest and greatest in emerging technology, sustainability and of course, biosciences. This week is a showcase of Phoenix’s innovation ecosystem highlighting the achievements of Lucid Motors and the University of Arizona Health Sciences, to name a few. This event is completely free and starts at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

AZ Shop Like a Local

Downtown Phoenix, Inc. is bringing an awesome local-first shopping experience to the Arizona Center, which is just across the street from the Phoenix Bioscience Core. Fifteen local retailers and artists will be on display during business hours around the Arizona center selling clothing, jewelry, art, music, books and much more. If you’re visiting Phoenix or just want to support local businesses, this is a great event for you.

Roosevelt Row

Downtown Phoenix’s cultural epicenter, Roosevelt Row, will be home to a variety of public and private events all week. Some of the biggest Super Bowl partners are setting up public and free activations, while other businesses are shut down for private events. If you’re on your way up to Hance Park for the Super Bowl concerts, Roosevelt Row is a great place to make a pitstop.

Super Bowl Experience at Hance Park

Taking place at Margaret T. Hance Park, the Super Bowl Experience will bring some of the biggest local and national musicians to the stage. From Tempe’s Gin Blossoms to Mesa’s Jimmy Eat World, as well as national artist Lee Brice, Hance Park is a great, free place to check out some live music this week.
